Hilltop Lodge Standard Queen - Room 105

Communication and getting access to the room was great! When I got there the carpeting had not been vacuumed, there was hair and a bug (not a bedbug) in the bed. The housekeeper changed everything and vacuumed. Then it was much better.

Wasn't very clean, but I enjoyed the solitude and quiet. I also liked the self check in..didn't have to deal with any people which I prefer. I was only there to sleep so overall I liked it. I'll most likely stay there again.

Well Kept Motel-Style Property with Some Issues. Positive: Well kept property, motel style. Fridge and ice compartment. Negative: No ice machine (had to ask for ice from the reception). Bid is soft and wobbly, pillows are bouncy (not fluffy). Shower towels too tin and too small (needed 2 to dry off properly after shower). Shower did not stay hot for too long (first night only). No breakfast. Wifi is not reliable (on & off). Room was small with little place for luggage.

Cabin was small and perfect for our needs as we explored the boundary waters. Positive: Enjoyed the property and the simple touches added around. Easily accessible and very comfortable. Staff was accommodating and the entire check-in/out process was seamless. Negative: There was a lot of activity of teenagers around the property and cabins at night, which was mostly okay except for the loud ATVs.
